George Washington's Day Parade

Event Description:
The City of Alexandria hosts the largest parade celebrating Washington’s Birthday in the USA. CAPD is proud to once again participate in this event. In 2007, CAPD received first place honors in the Community and Adult Band or Corps category.


Directions:
Parade Route: Start point is on South Saint Asaph Street at Wilkes Street; parade goes North on Saint Asaph Street to Queen Street, East on Queen Street to Royal Street, South on Royal Street to King Street, East on King Street to Fairfax Street, and South on Fairfax Street to the End Point on Fairfax Street at Gibbon Street.
Reviewing Stand is on the West side of Royal Street at Cameron Street
